Biography (click for more...)
David Boos (Bass) has dedicated his whole life to singing. He started singing at the age of six in church choir, then in school choirs beginning in 8th grade. He has been very active in church ministry, including serving as Director of Music for ten years at Trotwood Church of the Brethren. Dave was introduced to barbershop music in 1986, first singing with the Xenia Hospitality Chorus and later with the Dayton Metro Barbershop Chorus, where he is currently the Music Director. Dave has sung in three registered quartets, including Harmony Gents, Keep in Time, and No Regrets.
Jon Graetz (Baritone) was also raised with music, singing and playing instruments at every opportunity in church and school. He was first introduced to barbershop in high school and sang with the Singing Buckeyes for three years. For the next thirty years, other choirs and quartets occupied him, but barbershop was always a love. After seeing the Dayton Metro Barbershop Chorus in 2011, he returned to his barbershop roots (for good). In addition to No Regrets and the chorus, he serves as an assistant director for Dayton Metro.
John Lemming (Lead) sang in the church choir when he was a school boy and wasn’t introduced to barbershop style singing until he was an adult. Thirty years ago a friend noticed him singing along with the audience to a guitar version of “Rocky Top” and invited him to a rehearsal for the Dayton Metro Barbershop Chorus. Since then, he has been a member of DMBC, then the Amarillo Golden Spread Chorus in Texas, as well as singing in the Texas www.harmony quartet. He’s now a proud member of No Regrets.
Jackie Dour (Tenor) is the newest member of No Regrets, joining when we lost our former tenor in December of 2024. Jackie has sung lead in the Dayton Metro Barbershop Chorus since 2019 and serves as an Assistant Director. She started singing barbershop in high school, then officially joined in 1981 with the Evansville, Indiana Hoosierettes, a Sweet Adeline Chorus. She sang with many choruses throughout the years, including The Richtones in Dallas, Crosstown Harmony in Milwaukee, and Heart of Indiana Chorus in Indianapolis, where she was an assistant director. She sang bass with Change of Heart, a quartet who in 1996 took 7th place in the Harmony, Inc. International competition. She was the founder of Great Lake Sound Chorus in Valparaiso, Indiana, and also directed the Terre Haute, Indiana chapter of Harmony Inc.
